The videos for 2025 January onward continue a new series titled Great Asian Railway Journeys hosted by Michael Portillo. This series will run through 2024 October. The first in this series will begin in Hong Kong (special administrative region of the People's Republic of China), at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and will discuss political developments leading to the Republic of China (prior to Communist take over. Portillo’s travels take in the islands of Hong Kong and Lantau Island.
The video for 2025 January, Hong Kong, will be in the Ashcroft Movie Theater on January 2 at 2:15 p.m.

Regular Club Meetings
Regular Club meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month in the Ashcroft Movie Theater. All Shannondell Model Railroad Club Members and Friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
The 2025 January meeting will be held on 2025 January 16 at 2:00 p.m.
The 2025 February meeting will be held on 2025 February 20 at 2:00 p.m.
The 2025 March meeting will be held on 2025 March 20 at 2:00 p.m.

Train Room
The Train Room is currently open to all Shannondell residents and accompanied guests. It is generally open all weekday mornings and often in the afternoons. You are welcome to stop in anytime the lights are on, or call x8900 (not regularly monitored) or contact one of the following:
